Roadtrip: Day 3

Well, day numero three commenced at approximately 7:00 AM. The hotel we stayed in had the most comfortable beds, so we woke up feeling well rested! We grabbed some complimentary breakfast items and hit the beaten trail again! There was a downpour the rest of the way through Arkansas, which was obviously not fun to drive in. Arkansas and I did not get along this trip! Finally the clouds opened up and we arrived in Oklahoma!
Sup Oklahoma?

So far, Oklahoma has been my favorite state! The roads are so nice, and the scenery is beautiful! After we hit Oklahoma City, the land started to flatten out. We started to see a variety of farms and various indian reservations. We even spotted some windmill farms!
Gigantic propellors!
It seemed like the flat land got even flatter and flatter until we finally arrived in Texas.

Welcome to Texas... where there is nothing for miles.
The drive through Texas was BORING. There was nothing for miles, and miles, and milesssss. I saw a few exits for dude ranches! We should have stopped! After about 2 hours of this...
NOTHING.
...we finally arrived in Amarillo.

It was so weird driving into the city because there was nothing for miles, and then BAM! Civilization. We checked into our hotel around 5:00 and had a nice dinner. I am going to hit the gym to get some exercise in, then sleep the night away! Tomorrow we are headed through the rest of Texas, and New Mexico until we reach Flagstaff Arizona!

Next Stop: Flagstaff, Arizona
